Planet Tiamat or Nibiru.

Some researchers point out that the twelth planet may have been destroyed by some cataclysm
or ancient war.

Take your pick.

I for one think we have been LIED to about our origins and history for centuries.

Its all about control over the masses.

Keep the people ignorant and focused on "american idol" and football games.

Bread and circuses.

Sub fever, you should have waited to see if anyone backed you up, before admitting you were kidding.  I would not be surprised to see some on here take the bait and run with it.

For a short period of time, I actually contemplated upon doing just that. But then, I concluded that such behavior might put some readers on guard towards my future posts. Not to mention that I would have had to work a little harder at making the story a bit more credible.

If that can give you a wet dream, you must be one of those red-headed nymphos... [;)]

It wouldn't surprise me a whole lot if there's some documented, revelation-level information that has been withheld from the masses for centuries.

I've got some of Zacharia Sitchens books..I find them fascinating..and plausable...all I can say is god help the universe if the human race is the most advanced life form there is *grin*. It's interesting thse tablets actuallyshow the solar system and planets that were only discovered in recent times by *modern* man.

The problem is of course that they show a couple planets we have yet to discover, the 10th planet that completes an orbit every 3000 years that we have now verified to be true.

Which planet makes an orbit every 3000 years?

Sedna's orbit is 10500 years,  being highly elliptical.

Another one unaccounted for is the Planet of Lost Socks - a dark, fluffy ball composed of socks and other personal attire which have vanished from inside clothes dryers.

my favorites are the dust bunnies under the bed.  watching them get sucked up in the vacuum!  i think they come from the milky way....  but there is no evidence to prove thes.

U313 (Xenu) has an orbit of 1200 or so years...

There is a planet sort of thingie (Nibiru) which has a 3600 year orbit, so to speak.

Although I am not sure it qualifies as a planet.

so what qualifies a planet?

so what qualifies a planet?

According to the major astronomy people, it has to be the only significant object in it's orbital trajectory.

The problem Pluto has is that it's orbit intersects Neptune's, making it unplanet-like.

p.s. Im just the messenger.  I am the sort of person that if some dude wants me to call him/her/it Napoleon I would simply smile and nod.

Not really, I am of the opinion that Pluto should be grandfathered in and accord "planet" status because that is the way it has always been.

However, I can also understand a bunch of educated stuffed-shirts deciding that because it does not have certain attributes, it should not be a planet.

Sedna cracks me up.  But most of the people I have discussed it with dont seem to understand.

Sinergy

p.s. It cracks me up because it is a lot more of a planet than Pluto is.
