LadyEllen -> shameless promotions! (1/12/2007 10:01:48 AM)

What products and/or services have you used, that you would endorse and recommend to others? (not just bdsm related)

Come on! Give us all some pointers?

NB - PLEASE, no defamatory remarks, founded or not, about products/services you wouldnt endorse! There's a guy getting crucified by a certain low cost air carrier at the moment for that, and I dont want to bring down similar corporate wrath on CM!

I'll start - I'd go for;

Dyson vacuum cleaners - you never realise how filthy your carpets are till you use a Dyson on them!

Enterprise car rental (UK) - economic, and customer service that is worth double the money!

Jack Daniels, Budweiser, Mountain Dew, Marlboro... i'd have anyh of them tattoed on my ass

also Airbourne, a cool tablet that dissplves in water and helps protect from colds and the like in high risk situations (like a kindergarden class)  the crap also tastes great too

GHD hair straightners - expensive but well worth it.

Rampant rabbit - Ann summers have a range now and they are yummy [:D]

Wonderbra - Enough said lol.

Nars- Absolutely fantastic makeup. It not only stays put, but the shimmer doesnt fade over the day. One pallete lasts almost the full 2 years because you barelt need to use any of it to get a dramatic or a classy look.

Starchoice satellite: Way cheaper than other sat systems, and treats their employees like gold.

Stay warm,

Thanks for the tip! I've been thinking of getting one.

Neutrogena's Advanced Solution facial cleaning system. The three things - a facial cleaner and two lotions - are like $25, but my skin is actually mostly clear with it for the first time in years.

Lashra -> RE: shameless promotions! (1/12/2007 8:08:56 PM)

Honda automobiles, Smith & Wesson guns, De Tails Toys...

Prismacolor colored pencils. Sooo... smooooothhh....

Edit: Also, Henckels Professional Series and Global knives... If you're gonna buy knives, don't cheap out on them, go for the GOOD stuff! They will last you longer and give you less headaches (and cut fingers) in the end.

BlkTallFullfig -> RE: shameless promotions! (1/13/2007 12:08:54 AM)

Sebastian Grease for folks with dry/unmanageable hair; and Biosilk by Rusk for help with hair shine/manageability without the heavy, oily, greasy feeling.
I tend to buy name brands if the price is reasonable on a lot of things because the quality/taste is different on most things I've tried.   M

Vincent Longo lipstick.  It's rich and creamy, and almost feels as moisturizing as ChapStick.   Vincent Longo's lipgloss, also, because it feels great and isn't sticky.

Sabon's Body Scrub.  The scents can be a little overpowering, but it works miracles.  I have keratosis pilaris (those little bumps a lot of people have on their upper arms), and this scrub tackles them better than anything the dermatologist has ever given me.  Sabon is mostly in NYC, but they have a few spread out across the US.

Crabtree & Evelyn's Aloe Vera Body Lotion.  Light and non-greasy, but works great on dry skin.

And one last skincare product.  I love, love, love Clarins' Doux Nettoyant Moussant (Gentle Foaming Cleanser).  It's great at getting off makeup and my face always feels baby soft after using it.

LOL,
Ron
