Could be that the person who posted that ad simply wants someone who identifies with that role to do the work, rather than trying to deal with the perceived attitude of a Dom/Master in getting what they want the way they want it done. I have seen postings for jobs seeking people that were lifestyle friendly and identifying in a particular role, because the poster did not want to justify the way they wanted to get the job done or hide who they are.

Too bad you're not closer to Greensboro <wink>

Actually it's been very surprising to me that there do not seem to be very many Domme's around. Rather disappointing, too as I enjoy the company of other Fem Domme's.

my current Master has made available to Dommes for the purpose of cleaning their homes and/or doing yardwork for them and, if they wanted, also to use me sadistically, but with no other relationship involved.  Unfortunately, it has been nearly impossible to find a Domme near Charlotte, NC to take advantage of my Master's offer of loaning His slave out for this purpose.  i don't understand why that is.

It never ceases to irritate me that even people in this lifestyle (whom one would think would know better) seem to think that the only benefit from a D/s relationship accrues to the Dom, and all the work to the sub. In fact, the sub derives a great deal of benefit from the relationship, it's just not as obvious to an observer as the benefit the Dom receives.

A sub/slave could be needed to help clear our land, doing external work, in yard, garden, workshops; internal work - some cooking, laundry & cleaning house ...  could live in our 'slave quarters' ... which is an 8" X 31" permanatley connected travel trailer

i'd probably enjoy that type of thing too and if it were 4 years ago i probably would of made an inquiry.  I dont mind that sort of stuff and i like gardening/yard work.

Infact i pretty much do all of that for my mother.  One because she's ill and if she over works her self she ends up in bed for days and two because it makes her happy.  If i pop around and i see her out in the garden digging trenches or doing any sort of yard work, i usually hollar at her and tell her to go sit down.  I can get 2 days of her yard work done in a couple of hours.  I even hollar at her if i catch her mowing her grass.

Granted i'm pregnant now so we're at a catch 22.  It sucks!  I'm the healthy strong one and can push my body.  So her yard is in sore shape but i can help out with the house stuff at times.

i do the same thing, only for my Master's mom, who lives nearby and is elderly.  He takes me over to her house and i clean it top to bottom, while He takes her shopping or to get her hair done and to lunch.  i love it.  i get a very good feeling of satisfaction from seeing the results of my work.  i also take care of planting flowers in her yard and trimming the bushes, etc.  it gives me a good feeling.

Congratulations on your pregnancy.  Don't know if this is your first, but i hope all goes well and you both are healthy.  i love being a mom.

Well, I see nothing wrong with it. Actually while I'm not here looking for labour. I would have ample use for someone that just wanted that kind of relationship. Actually I think I'm going to make a seperate profile for those that just want to serve in that capacity only.

Hell, it wouldn't be a bad gig really for the right person.
All expenses paid(living quarters, electricity, food, clothing), no worries, just set jobs. And bonus cash for doing a good job.(I'm a nice boss)

It's sorta like wanting a full-time live in employee. Hell, I could use 4 of them.

I too am with the majority on this one...I just don't see anything wrong with her add.

I for one appreciate very defined lines.  It makes it so much easier to make decisions for myself.  I don't like sugar coating bullshit.  I don't like having my time waisted and am equally NOT interested in waisting someone elses.  Her add is very clear and to the point...I like that.  Not the position I would want to take, but hey, I know that because it was soooo clearly defined for me and someone else will be as happy as two bugs in a rug to take it and I wish them all the happiest!!

Take care and Be Cause!!

This seems like a perfectly good offer to me and, if i wasn't already owned, i would be interested in finding out about taking this position.  i have served others as a live-in domestic servant (with and without any D/s relationship involvement) in exchange for a rent-free room and nothing more.  i have done housework, yardwork, laundry, cooking, errands and animal care.  i enjoy being useful and being used by others, even without a D/s relationship being there.

my current Master has made available to Dommes for the purpose of cleaning their homes and/or doing yardwork for them and, if they wanted, also to use me sadistically, but with no other relationship involved.  Unfortunately, it has been nearly impossible to find a Domme near Charlotte, NC to take advantage of my Master's offer of loaning His slave out for this purpose.  i don't understand why that is.

Thanks for your post; my thoughts exactly.

Nothing wrong with this as long as it suits the needs of all involved.  A win-win situation.  Too bad I dont live closer.  I'd have no qualms about an arrangement such as this.  In fact, I had a sub many years ago who cleaned, did laundry and cooked dinner for a meager wage because she saw it as an honor to serve.

Best wishes,
LBO

I remember once talking to a couple at a local event and all the female wanted to know about me was literally my cooking and cleaning skills and if old people bothered me. When I told them I was looking for more of a complete relationship she got all pissed and did the “you are not really a slave” BS. It is those people I have no respect for.

i think the only way to prevent such misunderstandings is not to call yourself sub or slave this just invites others to put their preconceptions of those terms on to you

i think some slaves would see this as more real than an advert from someone who identified themselves as any kind of bdsm player

why wouldn't a slave enjoy the opportunity to serve some who just wanted someone to serve them

and you can't tell from the advert what the personal dynamic would be between the 'employer' and the unpaid worker. anything could happen from being abducted and forced into real captivity to the employer falling in love with a handsome young labourer and cuckolding her husband

Dear Bubblicious, Ladies and Gentlemen;

I'll have to echo MasterFireMaam's comments, where the 'spirit of intent' governs if the agreement is strictly free labor or D/s.

My interactions with those of West Virginia and Northwestern Virginia; such individuals be it Dominant and or submissive; have been extremely helpful and willing to help each other out but, they haven't been recent transplants though--but, long term residents born and raised there.

There is no problem in the advertisement itself, as it invited slaves and or submissives but, left enough opening for a Dominant that might be able to assist in getting things done.

That said, there are those who feel that being a dominant is an immediate entitlement to free services and labor.  It would be my advice to negotiate and put it onto paper.  I've seen too many people do a lot of work and suddenly the Dominant won't hold up their bargain so, perhaps a financial figure in lieu of Dominant interaction, e.g. scenes and the like; as a back up payment.

Just some thoughts.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs

While I can understand an s wanting to submitt to their D's wishes regarding yardwork, housework, aerobics (long story), whatever-floats-their-boat as part of their relationship

Being used, exploited, depraved (or more sadistically not being) may be part of that relationship and as we know every relationship is different.

But going back to the very first question, is this even a relationship??
Judging by the ad, they want a yard cleared and will offer bed, board and someone to issue orders, pretty much in that order.

While it's the job of the s to obey (usual disclaimers apply) this doesn't look like a job, more a short term contract, and for subbies sake I hope they look into what happens after the job is done.

To borrow from the animal people "a pet isn't just for xmas"

i think working for free is what some of us want . there doesn't have to be a kink to it although personally i like having a relationship of some sort (not necessarily sexual) with the woman

I had a sub once ask if I needed a Maid because they enjoyed serving in this manner. Too bad she didn't live closer I would have gladly accepted the offer.  Servatude takes many forms.  I was not in any way soliciting help they just thought I was pretty and wanted serve me. I was humbly honored.

I think it sounds refreshingly honest.  If anyone was interested, they could find out what fringe benefits, if any, come with the job, and how long-term it's meant to be.  But these people aren't trying to trick anyone into anything, they've been pretty clear about the basics.

can't see a problem in giving labour freely. you can see the pleasure that the other person gets from your service. does the person have to be in the "lifestyle"? is it unfair if there are people who say "you're a weirdo but why don't I take advantage of you". their life will be better for your efforts - that should be enough for you

"Free Labor"      room and board isn't bad.  The ad is honest, upfront, and would be perfect for the right person.  Heck it wold be great for a sub ssub couple who would serve all day and still have someone to have sex with in their private quarters!
