WHY in life do we not have all the answers?
WHY does life have to be so confusing
WHY does life have to suck

WHY WHY WHY

And, as i ask so sweetly, why cant anyone do as i requested AND GOOD JUMP OFF A BRIDGE?

why?

this was disussed before, and for having the entire populace jump off a bridge would certainly clog the rivers. Its been decided that the Nile Bridge would be better suited. The only issue with that would maybe be fat crocidiles and maybe an over populage of crocs. But being as i'd be the only one left on the planet, i'm sure i wouldnt mind. Of course i might not mind a few others staying behimd with me as long as they the made a pact with (some authortive figure) that if i deemed that need to take a hike to the nile bridge and jumped off they would.

Wouldnt that just be lovely?

If you could all have such simple and pleasant fantasies, you would all be just as happy as me!

Keep trying, you'll make it there some day

kelly

Well, now that I am beginning to learn how twisted you can be from reading your posts--the answer I had for you just doesn't seem to fit anymore! So, I'll offer an explanation that has been shared with me!
"Life is like a shit sandwich--the more bread you have--the less shit you have to eat"! Yes, I will keep trying in the hopes I will get there eventually!

Alas, the "Lemming Theory" was an invention of Disney. Why they should lead kids to believe that poor lemmings are inclined to jump off cliffs (and one asumes, any other high place such as a bridge) is anybody's guess, but it does fit with many of their other weird theories, such as kids whose parents are brutally murdered then being raised by packs of dogs, wild elephants and other improbable and very non-stereotypical parental units. :-)

It wasn't so much Kipling I was thinking of (and a fine author he is) but more the perverse spin Disney Inc. likes to put on things ;-)

Pocahontas anyone?

Hans Christian Andersen probably would have pulled out his hair while sitting through The Little Mermaid...

It seems as if hair wasn't the only thing Disney wanted people to pull out in The Little Mermaid. Visit here:

and go to the "Hidden things in cartoons" section :-)

PS: To RiotGirl -- the story of the Lemmings & Disney is also at that page ;-)
