Why is it so hard to find someone that will chat and in time meet people in this area?  There are a lot of people listed but never return mess.

Depends on each individual. Are you writing to those who have expressed an interest in meeting a switch couple (that's what your profile says) or are you writing everyone in your area regardless of orientation? A lot of people like to meet others out in the real world...have you tried to find local munches?

How do you know what kind of life they are interested in, if they never wrote back. Maybe they are off living their 24/7 lives and don't feel like chatting online.
