Not sure what mine would be, but I saw a man at the grocery store a few minutes ago whose theme song should be "Dude Looks Like A Lady"       *scary*

I've narrowed it down to two (both show tunes, of course): "Something Wonderful" from The King and I and "I Am What I Am" from La Cage aux Folles.

I think mine is "Addicted to Love."  (aren't addictions a bad thing?)

I think others might say my theme songs are "When I See You Smile" and "I Will Survive."

For a long time it was "Straight A's" by the Dead Kennedys. In the past few years i've adopted "The Feeling's Back" by Suicidal Tendencies. i'm not sure of what anyone else would choose for me, other than "Back in Black", which is just too obvious... i'd like to think i hang around people with more imagination than that.

LoL I always come up with about 5 different songs for these posts. But right now I'm really feeling "lost realist" by Trapt.

I like "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor, a lot.

But then again, one of my favorite songs is Warren Zevon's "Werewolves in London" - just because it's so cute and weird (always a great combination in my book). I have no idea how I relate that song to me - I just like it 'cuz it's so bizarre in a harmless, fun way. I love the way Warren Zevon howls during the song (if I ever met him in person, I think I'd ask him to please bite me on the neck, he).

I really like "Rhapsody in Blue", too - I just love that one! It's so beautifully dramatic and moving. On piano, it's awesome to me, always.

I can't possibly pick just one - I like too many songs!

Oh yeah! "Rock the Casbah" is a great one. So danceable - such great ryhthm, adn interestign mix of instruments.

"In the Name Of Love" by U-2 is an all-time favorite of mine. Maybe that's my favorite. It's just so powerful. It builds and then it just explodes. It's so deeply, rhythmically melodic and moving.

I like "Rock Lobster" and "Love Shack" by the B-52's, as far as silly in a good way, and well put-together dance music.

And almost anything by Pat Benetar. I love the rhythm and melody in her song "Love is a Battlefield" even if the theme's a wee bit sad.

I always thought Joan Jett was interesting, as a musical artist. And Prince, too.
Sometimes, I really miss the 80's - it was such a great deacede for popular music that was danceable and memorable.
