Breath play, needle play, cutting. Those would be the most edge play I have done. Along the lines of RACK, they were done with people with a medical background, which reduced the risk incredibly. The breath play was done with a gas mask, and not with hands to the throat. Thing they watched out for with the gas mask was the element of carbon dioxide intake, not just lack of oxygen.

Ross It's not the element of risk that I seek to repeat but the pleasure and high that comes from the activity itself and the response invoked by my torment, especially if I can take them to and possible over the edge. Having discovered my sadistic desires at a very tender age, I was surprised by the amount of pleasure I derived from the simple response of tears. Yes, it excited me but I was much too young then to understand those feelings much less put a name to it all. I've since discovered how much I truly enjoy the intensity of sadomasochism in many forms from needle play to breath play, singletails, electro-torture, giving piss cocktails and various activities inbetween. While some are more physical than others, there is still that element of risk and why I a firm advocate of RACK rather than SSC. After all, safe and sane leaves far too much room for speculation and truly only relevent to those involved.

G'morning all: Ok, there's a red flag if I ever read one. How on earth could anyone submit to being used by someone they don't know the sexual history of and haven't seen a recent hard copy of their blood work? On the other end of the flogger, how could a dominant, of any gender, expose themselves to the risk of an STD so thoughtlessly? Don't tell me about rubbers. There's plenty of diseases you can catch while still using protection. As to what I find daring... Heck, I'm rather jaded at this point. There's not too many topics I consider taboo. I've done and seen so many different types of play, it's rather passé at this point. What others consider edgy is usually old hat in my book. I love edge play. My favorite to bate is breath play, which in some ways I really hate that I love it so much because it is so risky.
