sputniklove -> making the connection real (2/28/2005 10:01:07 AM)

Most of my sub relationships have started via a local network, and via friends who have given me their subs. That was in the E.coast,Now here in california due to my sub moving after I broke my knee, I am looking for new relations. My movement is limited,as I am still on crutches and although I have sent many emails I have not gotten responses since the first day. Could my mail settings be wrong? What is the best approach for making this all real, to actually engage. I of course respect people outside of the scene and do not want to make demands of anyone I do not know. I do want a sub/slave relationship, and all things have a begining I am just searching for guidance on how that begining is best started.Issues like trust, support and caring are all very important to me in this type of encounter...thoughts?

Hello sputniklove,

Have you considered finding a local BDSM group in your area? I understand that you said your movement was limited, but it might be something to do once you are able to get out more. Some local groups have email forums (perhaps on yahoo) where you might get an idea of people local to you. As for getting responses here, it comes and goes from what I can see. Do you personalize your emails to people?

I would say take your time. It's worth the wait to find the right match for you.

Take care,
Julie

Be sure to check your bulk mail folder as a lot of members were receiving mail there by mistake. Good luck with your search.[:)]
