For some reason, I was unable to reach this place over the weekend - I kept getting "collarme.com not found" errors. My guess is, since others obviously didn't have this problem, that my ISP's DNS server went bad, gently.

Any of you "techier-than-moi" types out there have ideas on how to fix such problems, if they recur in the future?

sometimes the server is down and other have to do with the mods making modifications. Atleast you can get on now so don't worry about last wkend. The technical stuff was tooken care of and this kind of stuff happens from time to time.

So when it happens again, just find something else do do. Write in your diary, make some phone calls, clean up your place, go shopping, there's always something to do and CM shouldn't be anyones life.

This happens to me once in awhile Midnight. Usually a few refreshes eventually brings up the page. I'm guessing it's bandwidth because when this happens collarme page loads happen extremely slow.

It's my guess collarme has reached a saturation point, where they can't afford any more bandwidth, without charging it's members for a bigger pipe.

I suspect changes are in the midst, we'll just have to wait and see.
