Dear Mistresses,
It is very common to find that most Dommes require submissives to send pictures of themselves when contacting them for the first time.
I have many pictures but I never know what kind to send and I daresay none of the profiles I've encountered have been specifc.
I have sexy ones, funny ones and ones where I just look pretty.
So my question is, which should I send?

Is it better to be formal or risque?

I'd be formal, just to play it safe, and send something that shows off your funny or casual side.  If she wants something more risque and you are willing to send it, then go for it.

I agree about sending something formal to be on the safe side.  When I ask a submissive for a picture of himself, I like to receive a face picture or full-body shot that clearly shows his face.  I find it offensive if he sends a cock shot, a nude picture, or something risque, unless I specfically request it.

go for something formal... its pretty safe to say that most of us have no desire to see risque photos up front (and personally its very very rare for me to take someone seriously if they do).

Send a picture you would not be embarrassed to include in your resume. (This presumes that you are not a gigolo.)

Ditto for a vanilla, polite face shot.  

Genital, nude or sexually explicit pics results in blocking the sender.

If I request a photo I'm looking for a head and shoulders shot -- something that shows the face. Hopefully a happy face because I'm not interested in adding sad or angry people to my household.
