Comedian Al Franken has reached out to Democratic lawmakers from Minnesota in recent days, seeking advice on a possible Senate run against Republican Sen. Norm Coleman (news, bio, voting record) next year.

Status: offline 		       If you mean the Governor Davis we fired out here, I've heard he's working for a major law firm.  Tripling the annual vehicle license fee (aka, the car tax) turned out to be a pretty good third rail.
