Here is an interesting possibilty for Obama to run against.

At least we might get some good Presidential debates for a change.

Newt, like fungus and broccoli, has a place in the world. He can bring good ideas and entertainment to the politcal process at times, but I dislike the guy, and would not vote for him.

Agreed.  I'm kinda leaning towards Rudy, but time will tell.

I still can't decide if the creators of that page are serious or not.  I suspect this election season is going to have a lot of this kind of confusion.  The net makes disinformation and deniable dirty tricks affordable to all.

Newt makes for a good strategist, but as a Presidential candidate, he would drop like a rock.

So who else do we have to carry the Conservative banner in '08?  There seems to be presumption for McCain, but his age is going to have to be a factor against him.  Romney is clearly in it.

The Newt link seemed like a nice place to start, just because it struck me as funny, but there are a lot more out there.

Chuck Hagel is one, Rich. I think he would be able to put forth a serious bid for President, and if he and McCain joined forces, watch out Dems.

Just pick a name out of a hat. Couldn't be worse than the present incumbent.

No wonder we Canadians can't make heads or tails of your politics down there. Everyone knows Red is Liberal (Democrat) and Blue is Conservative (Republican). If you can't even get the colours straight what chance do you have of making the right... er... correct choices?

Blast it, Zensee, if you Canadians don't stop swapping things around, you're never going to make 51st state (ahead of Puerto Rico).

I like Newt.   His campain people came to my yard and stuck their posters in it, when i was in GA and I called him and he personally came down and removed them from my yard and appologized for his people trespassing.

A little tidbit France vehemently denies.  Mostly because if they didn't, and they found a military dogshit on their territory, they'd have to surrender again.

How about we toss in Celine Dion and she can toss off Neil Young and Rush?

Backwards fits perfectly with Newt/Quayle in '08. Sometimes backwards is forwards and sometimes blue is red. Trust your cousins on this one.

Ugh, don't even say "Quayle"...... if you mean our misbegotten former vice-president.  Seeing him ascend to near the top of the mountain still makes me shake my head.
