Could be worse, you could be in that part without power, meaning no hot food or drink, no water and no indoor plumbing. Keep that in mind.

I wish I could sit on the internet for hours on end.  Unfortunately I am a caretaker and my internet time is very limited.

Great Goddesses you've been doing that for SIX DAYS? Oh I am so so sorry.. If it was within my power to rescue you I'd be there before you could blink! Definitely take a week or so off when you finally get out of there!

Actually Oklahoma is not that bad.  I am not a native, I was born and raised in Los Angeles.  However, the cost of living is right and anyone can live fairly decently as long as they work.  We have to put up with some occasional outrageous weather, but there are outrageous events going on all over. 

If you think about it.  Oklahoma is central to the whole country...even though we are not formally considered the Midwest, in acutality we are in the middle of the US a little to the west.  Only a hop, skip and a jump from anywhere in the US...Go figure....come experience Oklahoma...its not as bad as the reputation suggests.

Might as well settle in for abit. Right now where I am we just started with sleet and have more on the way. Probably will change over to snow before midnight. Could see up to 3 more inches of snow covering probably another inch or two of ice.

I am leaving Sunday AM...come HELL, HIGH WATER or ANOTHER ICE STORM.  I have just enough sanity to last until then.  No games will help it extend beyond that.
