should be an adventure, and something you'll never forget.  I was introduced to this site by a new friend who knows what its like to have not a clue.  Infinitely anal, not knowing much about something I'm curious about is driving me insane.  Where do you start when you don't know what result you're looking for? It's like having a craving for something you just can't put your finger on, and overeating because you want to taste it all, hoping to find that one thing that satisfies and kills that insidious craving you obsess about even in your dreams...  I have yet to find the thing to fill that void.  Fortunately, a beautiful lady who understands what that is like gave me some great advice when she told me, "If you don't start looking, you'll never find it and that would be such a waste of talent!"

If you haven't guessed, I'm so new I didn't even UNDERSTAND a lot of the things in the lists of checkoffs concerning interests etc.  For a well read individual, I feel like I've been stuck in a cave sexually, existing on nothing more than the hope of an orgasm NOT brought on by my own hands and the possibility that sex might actually last more than 15 minutes (10 min of that being the well known shoulder rub indicating there will be at least 5 minutes of grunting before you go to sleep, and WHILE you make the grocery list in your head).

I look forward to learning a lot of new things.

Welcome to the wonders of Collar Me, Velvet. Don't worry about not being well read on the subject;
Good, well informed writing on the joys of D/s is rare. And I don't recommend waiting for the movie.

Seek out your fellow subs - They'll teach you more in an evening than you could learn in a year - and
you'll avoid a lot of heartaches and regret. Be diligent in your quest, be careful with your heart and the
one who deserves you will appear when you least expect it.

Be well, be happy,

The Bard.

Understood and accounted for, Bard.  Thank you for the welcome, it is appreciated.  I'm in Louisiana, and I've just become involved with a BDSM group that is very social, though 2 hours away from me.  I plan to learn what I can, when I can.  I have some very subbish tendencies, but in a group, my entire outlook and demeaner changes, and I honestly I'm not sure if it's because I'm not truly a sub or because I'm just a brat who deserves a good spanking.  I suppose time will tell.  There is no need to worry about my heart, I don't think it works anymore, or at least it is on hiatus after my recent divorce.  Thank you again for the good advice.

Thanks for the greets, it's nice to have someone say hello.  I'll be around a lot, no worries, and I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions as I see and meet people.
