Lately on the news there is an uproar among the VFW clubs. They supported the smoking ban because they thought they were going to be exempt.
Don't even start on rights to air, ills of smoking, I AM NOT GOING THERE !.
Where I am going is their self-centeredness. They were RIGHT ON TV, saying "We thought the ban would drive people out of the bars and we would get more business". They said that.
And then the guy whined that once business is gone it is gone. They need their comfort at my establishment, but it is fine to be able to do what they want and tell YOU what to do in running your business. And it was greed, freely admitted.
Does anybody see this, does anybody see what is fucking wrong with this other than me ? You must make YOUR bar smoke free, and I will take all your smoking customers over at the club, but OOPS, we are not exempt ! Oh shit, we need another vote !. That is what they said. Not verbatim, but close. If this was my country people would be shooting those places up, as well as their TV sets.
