Am I the only one who's surprised and faintly depressed to find a thread entitled "Why are girls so Mean" on a forum that's meant for adults? Wasn't this discussion done to death when everyone was about 16?

Women are mean because men have screwed them over so many times. But women do need to take more responsibility for the choices they make. Invariably women are inferior to men when choosing a partner. How many times do you hear a woman say "men are pigs" "men are dogs" so on and so forth. Men don't whine as much. Women overall are smarter than men but need to take more responsibility in the choices they make. By the way, AEON is one beautiful woman.

It seems to me that "being mean" has never had anything to do with gender. At least not in my experience. Boys and girls alike do their share of making the opposite/same sex feel like crap. We have all been guilty of this at least once in our lives, usually in our adolecence. Some of us grow out of it and some of us don't. Your question is not one of gender...it is of humanity in general. Why are some people so mean?? Sometimes, if you could get inside this "mean" person's head, I think you would find that it makes perfect sence why they are being mean right now given their own lives in that very moment. Sometimes it does not make any sence. Either way, you have two choices. You can let their perceived "meaness" dictate how you are going to go about the rest of your day and how you treat others...good or bad...or you can just let it go. Why are some people so mean? Because someone else was mean to them!! Ladydeeddlit
