This has been discussed in regards to many other situations. As a safe, sane, and consensual dominant, I always issue an emergency key to any lock my long term submissives or slaves are expected to where. The only time I do not provide an emergency key is if the lock is part of a one time play scene or with a play partner that is not my sole responsibility. My expectation is that if they truly desire to serve me, they will only unlock it when absolutely necessary. Airport security is one of those times. I prefer they not raise red flags and be hassled going through security especially if they travel often, for business, or with toys. They need only to replace the lock as soon as absolutely possible and be sure to tell me that they removed it and then promptly replaced it. I'd ask your dominant to do the same. All kinds of emergencies can arise where it needs to be removed, car wrecks, fires, electrocution, fights, etc. Any emergency key should always be available and frankly I would seriously question the fitness to serve me if a submissive didn't ask me for one. But if time does not permit, I'd wait until I got to see him and once ensuring your desire to serve this particular dom, ask him to please lock it on you and provide you with an emergency key. Especially seeing as how you must fly to see him.
