The Dom i am currently in contact with really likes enema's and i've always been intrested in them. but what does it feel like? how long can one hold one? any help would be awesome. thanks

Really depends on the enema and what is in it. How much as well. Enemas can feel great or just be real painful.
You put the water in too fast and you're cramping up severely. Yet if you go slow enough and it is the right temp its a wonderful experience.
You also have to watch the contents of an enema. Reports are people have died from alcohol enemas.
Amoung other things. A little bit of research will keep you safe.

My owner likes enemas so we've done them a couple of times. I never got to the point of holding it for more than less than a minute, and if you haven't done one before I wouldn't necessarily have holding it in as a goal - you have to do several flushes out with the enema before you even get to the holding in stage (you should be only holding in clear water, not your feces).

Basically it felt to me like I had water in my butt - my stomach cramped a little bit and it just felt slightly uncomfortable to me and also rather vulnerable. I don't know of any resources on enemas but I'd guess a google.com search on enema and BDSM would get your some starts.

You could hold it for 15 minutes or more with practice. I have done coffee enemas for health purposes. It can be crampy, occasionally uncomfortable, and potentially embarrasing depending on where you are if you let loose.

When relaxed, you can feel the warmth or cold of the solution as it goes into the rectum. Your bowel will contract and try to expel until you relax and learn to breathe thru it and hold it in. You also should have a big wad of TP in your hand to block the flow until you get to the toilet. Good luck.

for me, enemas are great. i've never had any bad experiences with them. Usually, i'll take in about 2 quarts of warm water and do some house work for 15mins (it's amazing how much faster you work lol) then go to the toilet and expell everything. Although it is fun to do, i mainly use it to clean my insides. However, i believe if you hold it in for too long, the water can go to your bladder which is exactly a good thing...might have to find out more on that.

masochist boy: anatomically it is impossible for something to pass from your rectum/colon into your bladder if you are intact. the only way that would be possible is if you had a tear in both. that indeed would be bad news as you'd develop peritonitis. they are in two entirely separate systems. the bladder is in the urinary tract which consists of the blood vessels which carry waste (in the blood) to the kidneys. from there waste (urea)is passed through the ureter to the bladder (the holding tank) and then expelled from the body through the urethra. the rectum/colon is the tail end (pun intended) to the digestive tract. it consists (basically)of your mouth, throat, stomach, large intestine, small intestine and colon. your urinary tract deals with waste from your cells (mostly) while the digestive tract deals with waste from food. hope that gives you a better idea of how your insides are put together.

edited to add...if liquid leaked out of your rectum; it could potentially contaminate your urinary tract by crossing the perineum and (mostly in the case of women) enter through the urethra (located just above the vagina). men are built better in that their urethra is far from their anus. that's why women are more prone to urinary tract infections then men.

They can create quite a wide range of sensations depending on what liquid is used, how much is used, the type of equipment used, the temperature... A moderate amount of hot water, delivered through a slim tube, will give you a very urgent need to expel it, and feel very warm and loose as it comes out. A large volume of cooler water, delivered through a "retention" nozzle (butt-plug shaped, or inflatable) can be extremely uncomfortable, feeling like your entire body is swollen, and may even result in a nauseous feeling. Psychologically, a retention device can be very powerful, as you kneel on the floor desperate to evacuate all that water, but instead the pressure just keeps building inside you. And of course, there's the very common taboo of defecating in front of someone, which your Dom may or may not like to play with. i find that eventually, if you have no choice but to hold the water in, the need to expel it subsides a bit as your body absorbs it, but it can be very intense in the meantime. How long you can hold it, either by muscle control or by mechanical means, is up to you. If you're interested, give it a try... the equipment is inexpensive and easy to use. Just listen to your body, and remember to add a bit of salt to the mixture to avoid depleting your sodium levels.

enemas are great. they are very versatile. enemas can be used as foreplay or cleaning before anal play or my all time favorite as a punishment. i have been known to fill up a bad subs bottom with a large warm water enema plug her hole shut and paddle away until her ass is a crimson red or until i feel she has learned her lesson and may expel. there are 3 aspects to enemas each one being equally fun in its own rights but it all depends on the needs of the sub. they are filling retention and expulsion. if anyone has any further questions feel free to ask away. im always glad to help.

Good Lord! And...she doesn't ever leak? OMG...I'd leak. I'm like the other girl...and can't hold 'em for more than about a minute. How on earth can you fill one up and spank it without making a complete mess? I hate the damn things, even though nobody else has ever given me one. Just that little, one-cup, ball-thang can give me cramps if I use it too many times trying to get squeek clean. Ugg...I cannot imagine having somebody else around... blechhhhhhhhhhh! I know some people like them; the sensations, I guess...but I can't imagine what's in it for one to actually GIVE another someone an enema ....especially if they're like meeeeeeeeeee!
