I just found another person interested in starting a BDSM group on campus! As some of you know I have been wanting to start a group for a little over a year and I have at last found someone to help me.
Any advice would be wonderful, I'm just so happy that I don't have to do this alone.

I don't have any ideas for you..just a suggestion...

Get those college boys trained to serve women! Hopefully habits that last a lifetime!

yay!

Wish I'd had the guts to do that, sometime before my senior year. Good luck and I'll be curious as to how it goes.

We are already talking about hosting a Fetish Ball. There would be an entrance fee and all of the proceeds would go to Every Women's House (which is an organization that helps both men and women get out of abusive relationships). This would not only be a fun event, but it would also help a worthy cause.

Congratulations Siamsa! I think the more universities that get involved, the greater the cultural acceptance will become.

You might want to contact some of the other groups at other universities to see what kind of advice they have. Of course, CUFFS at Iowa State Univ. is (in)famous right now. Their website is http://www.stuorg.iastate.edu/cuffs/ and you can get the email address from that.

Washington University (in St. Louis) has a group. It is called the Alternative Lifestyle Association. I don't have any contact information on them - I only know of them through a student newspaper article.

I would think that the people at those two universities would be in contact with other universities with similar groups. I am sure there are more out there.

And thanks to you, there will be one more!

Edit:

Columbia University also has a group called Conversio Virium

Well yay, I happen to wish my school had such a thing.

Then again, I'm only 8 miles away from north idaho. -twitch-

However, there are some members of the frat/sorority community here that need to be bound and gagged, but that's not terribly kosher.

Anyways best of luck to you, and rock on for supporting good causes.

Roger that, I'm from Seattle orginally, which makes all the wheatfields and the Idaho a bit trippy. Still I like the place well enough. And rock on for parents of coug grads.
