I don't attempt to base my questions and thoughts off anything. I was curious about how it all works, but obviously, the answers are not forthcoming, as you seem to be on the defensive.

I won't apologize for my curiosity and desire to learn.

I second that, i haven't worn heels since my wedding 36 years ago. Fortunately hubby doesn't care.

indigo302 perhaps I can help.

The understanding comes in realizing the difference between a sub and a slave, a slave is owned property with but one purpose to serve, a good slaves emotional well being is not an issue as it is based on how well she serves.

It is not a relationship in the sense the word is used in normal society, slaves have no choices and no limits, it is a full time permanent position. No gaurantees or promises, very unique even in the BDSM lifestyle.

The next thing is that sex is seldom the primary motivator, control and security are, a slave is happy with a Master as it supplies her with what she wants most, control and security. I have known slaves that have seldom if ever had sexual relations and are most happy.

Now is this the complete answer, no, but a pointer in the right direction for your question.

and so you know many women wear and walk in 6" stiletto heels, its the running thats the real problem :)

While I understand the basics, that a slaves sole purpose is to serve, these slaves are also human beings and as such have needs as a human being, don't they?

A Master or Mistress is responsible for the Wellbeing of their slaves. That means the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual welfare of each slave. When the slave is collared, they become the entrusted property of that Dominant. Understand that there is usually a time of training and consideration before a Dominant decides to collar slave. They know what expections and limits will be in place before that collar goes around thier
neck. But like any relationship, they continue to grow and issues can arise that were unforseen before the slave was collared. This is when the Master has to think what is best for them and the welfare of the slave.

There are born slaves that need to serve is greater then the need to be loved. I would be safe to say they are the minority. It is a wonderful fantasy to have a harem of slaves that do whetever you command without
question but in reality that does not happen too often.

PS: Since women who live together usually start to have their menses at the same time. It is just a scary thought. :-)

I'm with the OP...I don't understand how a Dom/me could have a kabillion slaves and EVERYONE be happy with that. But then again, what is a Queen without subjects.

I'm on my way to having 2 but I barely have time to "session" with the one I have. Hopefully, the 2nd one will be able to do more of the service things around the house. My personal limit will be 3 slaves. I dunno...3 seems like a nice round number.
