Hello ...

Your question implies that Mistresses, as a monolith, have one main source of satisfaction in dominating. Of course, that isn't true. It's different for each lady.

Challenged to winnow down my satisfactions to one, I would say that it is surrender and intimacy. I love the heady sensation of being able to get inside someone and move him. I love the trust that he shows in surrendering. And I love that he *wants* to do it. At it's best, D/s feels like tai chi or a dance, in which I and a submissive move in concert, he becoming more pliable, and I more controlling.

The freedom to be myself and to exercise my authority -- I know I can make good decisions and it's nice to not have to fight or struggle with that or even have them questioned.

Of course, there is also the beauty in the eyes and body of someone kneeling at my feet while he/she lays his/her head in my lap.

For me, it is the give over of power itself... the feeling of being in control, being able to be my bossy, particular self with someone who is happy experiencing that aspect of my personality.

I have a relationship that suits me. I am a dominant female and always will be. I like to be in charge and the male in my life recognized this right away. With me calling the shots and alot of kink thrown in, our relationship is fairly drama/argumentative free and that is the way I want it.

What satisifaction do I get? What I want when I want it as often as I want it. Which in turn gets his needs met as well.
A win-win situation.
