Hubby and i don't have intercourse any more, we get more pleasure from toys and oral. Also He has a bad hip and i have a bad knee so it's hard to find a comfortable position. When we were younger (say ages 35-55) it was probably once or twice a week.

Lets see, I have had intercourse with a partner twice since April of last year. The main problem for me is situational, I work a nightmarish job and the functions of trying to survive are sucking out my life energy. Add to that my insistence on only sleeping with people I have interest in having a permanent relationship... Sinergy

I myself will have it mabey at the most twice a month. I prefer other forms of sex than actual intercourse. I think BDSM is a great form of safe sex and more people should practice it. I also think that a majority of people into BDSM are middle aged, but I also see that changing. What I mean by that is people that are middle aged seem more open with it. Another reason that I say that is because most of my clients are middle aged, and I have talked to alot of people that have not been able to open themselves to it until later in life. Mabey that should be another poll.

LOL! I just ended a long term long distance relationship this month. I only had sex with him and wore out batteries at a terrifying rate. I use to hear "There is no Sex in BDSM" and that very well may be directed toward singles in BDSM because I dont know of any BDSM couples who do not have some sex. Except for a cuckold couple or two. Actually safe sex is very healthy and with the right person it can be a spiritual experience. I think if I met a Man who seeked a nonsexual BDSM Relationship, I would say, "No Thanks!" except if he was serving me in a Domestic Service Role. With all that being said I prefer to have sexual contact only with someone I have feelings for. No Strings sex has never appealed to me. Mistress Steele

I had my first cyber experience about 5 years ago and that rekindled me. Something I was musing about yesterday, was the cliche that men typically would happily use women just for sex, without any need for intimacy, etc. If that is the case, it would stand to reason that the time and money invested into a typical date would run nearly three times the cost of, say, a prostitute, pornography, or other 'non-intimate' interaction.
