Yet, shrinks are needed anyway to weed out the fakes, those who thinks they need it but do not, those who still have lots of other issues to deal with first before dealing with life and themselves post-surgery, and so on. This only really in regards to SRS as it does have quite an effect on a person, and if one is not prepared, it can seriously sideswipe them. For the fakes and those they think they need it, they are just fraking over their lives.
Now, for figuring themselves out and who they are gender wise, a shrink usually not needed.
