Ok, I was having a discussion with a slave and we were at odds about clothing requirements for slaves. I think that a slave should wear what they are told by thier owner. (ie. I wanted her to wear clothes at times those times being when My son was around and awake) she said that because I wanted her to wear clothes that I was elevating her position and that slaves should not be allowed to wear any clothes. What do Y/you think?

Ummmm, who wears the pants in this family (figuratively, of course)? laughing First, I would submit that your slave is definitely not a parent. Secondly, you have the responsibility of setting the rules and rights, especially in regards to your unmentionables. Set the rule. If she can't handle it, tell her to seek elsewhere. It is your right to determine what "elevates her status", not hers.

I think that they can wear nothing, that's always going to be in style... But what I really think is they better be wearin a smile and do what I tell them to...And if that means puttin on the ritz or puttin on a gunny sack, they better fuckin do it unless they have a core desire to exist in a space-time contiuum that is so not fuckin worth it---- Ron

#1. A slave that talks back to a potential owner period, is no slave!!!!! #2. A slave will wear whatever I tell them to wear, from nothing but a smile, to the most outlandish ballroom outfit I can find, to anything else I desire, whenever and where ever I desire it. Now, being smart and not wanting a slave of mine to go to jail I would not have her naked in a public venue that did not allow nudity, nor would I have her bath in that ballroom gown and ruin it. Still, she will obey me. #3. If she feels differently from the way I feel, then she can search for a DOMINANT that agrees with the submissive that she is, because she is not a slave if she is arguing like that.

I think that nudity is certainly a good way of making a slave feel submissive and humbled under many circumstances certainly... but good grief, if you want the slave dressed, it's your call, not theirs, yes? Among other things, there are times when circumstances ~require~ clothing for safety, for legal reasons, or just because you happen to like the way an item of clothing looks on the body you're about to rip it off of. ^.^ I actually go naked more often than my slaves, because I have a higher body temperature on average and get hot flashes often. It's comfortable for me to be naked. In the temperatures I tend to keep the house, it's comfortable for them to be dressed. Will they strip if I tell them to? Certainly. Does it make them any less of a slave to do something that protects their physical well-being and thus makes them better able to serve me in the long run? Certainly NOT.

What do Y/you think? For years I suffered from the idea that service and submission were terms which I could dictate. Getting Himself a cup of coffee was 'my' job and when he got up to get himself a cup of coffee, he was stepping on my toes and I was resentful about it. I finally wrapped my brains around the idea that service to 'him' needed to be as 'he' required it and not as I thought it 'should' be. When I was able to let go of the expectations I had and was able to serve as was required of me, I was able to grow into my slavery and revel in it instead of resent when things weren't as I thought they should be. Ask her - "Who do you serve?" - Hopefully, she will say "You!" Ask her - "How do you serve?" If her answer is "As you require" then the issues are moot and you just need to give her some reminders on occasion. If the answer is something else, you two have some communicating to do. You have the ability to guide her .. just realize that some of us need more guiding than others. (Case in point.. me!) [:)] Celeste

i've spent hours trying to google all those pictures of american pre-industrial slaves working in the cotton fields in all of their nekkid glory, wonder why i can't find them? and here i thought the proper and accepted state for a slave was sans clothing, damn... guess i was wrong

The owner says what a slave can or cannot wear. She needs to learn what being a slave entails. Also around children they better have clothes on, or you could be reported and have your kids taken away. ~Lashra

Thanks E/everybody for the input. I was just trying to make sure that I was not losing My mind. Been in this lifestyle all My adult life and have never had someone argue with Me over this. If My son wasnt present in the house it wouldnt even be a problem but as I tell E/everybody, Im a mother first and foremost, then Im a Mistress.
