Or are politicians sounding more fake by the day?

I was watching the news today listening to politicians react to Bush's speech and it just hit me stronger than usual today that every single one of them (Democrat and Republican) sounded so incredibly fake and scripted...especially the ones who say they are running for President.

At this point, I dont think I could place a vote for any of them. I seriously wonder if any of them have any idea what is going on in this country or in this world. I dont trust any of them,

It's not you. I remember when politicians used to discuss, debate and defend policy. Now they just avoid questions and try to assassinate their opposition's character.

Hey, look at Blair! He got into power without any policy at all and for most of his premiership you can see with the vacant look on his face, he has no idea what to do with power, which is why I guess we are stuck in Iraq.

Less and less people vote in Britain's elections and I guess its because there is nothing for people to vote for. There is no policy just bland platitudes and micro-management. No one knows where the country is heading but we all have an equal opportunity on the way.

To mangle the words of a purely fictional character....... I can rarely find a person or policy to vote for, I do however always manage to find something/body to vote against.
