I'm imprisoned by a relationship: 'gee whizz when I get out of this relationship I'll do this, that and the other...' I'm imprisoned in my current job: 'gee whizz when I get out of this crappy job I'll be rich and successful working for myself or i'll be a rock star etc etc...' The scariest thing is what happens when you finally have no excuses? Think about it...

Demons are spirits, spirits that can hinder and help (my view) true they could be called emotions, demons could perhaps have a big part to play in the deep fetishes that people have, leather, boots, smoking, bondage, the need to be overcome by the dominant partner a release of sexual energy, come forth the demons and do what yee will MuHuHuHhahahahahahah

Demons are conglomerates of sheer energy fields. Energy that is aware of itself, and its enviornment. What we know as "demons" are capable of consuming human energy. However, they find human energy unpalatable unless it is flavored with emotion. Fear is a common flavoring agent among demons, as is Lust.
Actually, bluedemonn was very close to the mark in his comment about demons inspiring us to engage in BDSM; they in fact do this, because it flavors our energy to their taste, as it were. The Dark feelings we get, when engaged in BDSM aren't our feelings; they are feelings we are being sent from the Things feeding off of us.
We/we are NOT the top of the food chain.

Now THAT was an interesting post my friend, I have looked into several meanings and philosophies of demonology and yours makes sense in the study of energy, as we know there is a 4th dimension of energy of which I am not sure anyone knows of the properties of but Demons feeding off energies such as emotions is very legible and does need alot more research.
