if there was no local clubs or groups etc , where would you think the best place to find a master would be , for someone that was just starting out .

Without a venue to meet people, and even if there is one..... You're already one place.  What's wrong with personal ads?  Might not be for everyone, but there does seem to be a few people here in this 'room'.

This is the way that I found my Master. I was new to the lifestyle and decided to put an ad on another website. He responded to it (along with many many others that I weeded out). We met, played and it went so well that 3 years later we live together, run a business together and are madly in love. I know it does not work that way for everyone and it takes time but it can be lots of fun along the way.

Of course you will come across the players and the wannabes along the way but take your time, don't rush and you will find lots of great people here on this site and on the others. Good luck with your search.

There is a return policy at ebay? I was doing most of my shopping in Walmart, but have upgraded to Macy's now. It probably helped moving to a new state.

Silliness aside...I am pretty sure all the Doms i met have been through Collarme. There are other sites you can look at.

well i found my Master here on CM  it does not work for everyone but it worked for us.  We will be together a year next month.  Just be careful of wannabes.

Clubs, groups and events that aren't so local. If you search google using the acronym BDSM and the nearest large city, you might find something.

If I was in your position I would seek other submissives, slaves for friendship in your area. If they are single like you, then perhaps you could split the expense of a trip to an area with more to offer, or she may know others that are interested in BDSM. If the submissive or slave was in a relationship, that is fine, perhaps they know other people interested in the lifestyle. If nothing else, you could make new friends that could show you the pitfalls of being a submissive. Just my thoughts
