I just think THERE's GOT to be a way!!! i'm on 2 other sites and find VERY potential subs all over place but the distance is the problem. Its part of the equation you have to be willing to deal with.

It took me 8 1/2 years to find my hubby ... and I met him here on CM out of all places.  But prior to meeting him I had met lots of nice people, they just never fit all the qualities I desired in a person ... so I had to be selfish and hold out ... but then I met my husband and his incredible good looks made me throw all those qualities out the window ... hehe.

ever notice that the ones that either you're interested in or are intersted in you...live too far away?

Ever notice that some people always find some kind of excuse for not going after what they claim to want more than anything else?

MoG has a wife (I think), and while I am not criticizing his choice in expressing this side of himself, and being true to his nature (whatever it might be) having a life partner who is unwilling or unable to be your kink partner has got to be awful......... at least for someone with a strict ethical and moral code (MoG has faults, but I don't think that lack of honesty with others is one of them, with himself maybe, but not in general with others).

Just my 2 cents

Michael... you're right, absolutely. Most of the time the people that I find most interesting are days away... not hours. Kind of makes me wonder if it happens that way because (a) they know they'll most likely never meet me face to face and are more readily relaxed in knowing that they can just be themselves? (b) they know they the chances are slim to non-existant that we'll ever meet so they can lie and try to make me feel like we "could" have been a perfect match? Or (c) I did something bad in a previous life and Karma has come to bite me in the ass? Personally, my vote would be for (b).

And pixelslave... you got that right... people that live within 4-6 hours from me... some even as close as an hour away... come up with more excuses the Carter has pills. Amazing.

Although I have had several pleasant relationships with subs, this is the first time I have found a slave where we seem to fit like hand and glove. From when I first started looking, it has been about a year and a half. She is my first slave. Didn't find her on this site, by the way. Actually she found me. She was new and thought from my profile I could give her some reliable advice, so she emailed me asking for information. During our email discussions we began to realize over several months time that we were really hitting it off, and it has blossomed from there.

Namaste, Sir Dominic

Gratz Sir Dominic..... Sometimes things happen in the weirdest ways, and for the simplest reasons.  I have enjoyed reading everyone's stories about finding their partners/subs/slaves/lovers, I find them encouraging and heartening.

He was my loving and gentle husband and grew into proposing to be my slave. He introduced me to the lifestyle and I don't regret it.
