I really wish people would spell "predator" right.

Being an older college student, I've noticed a generational difference in students.  Older people who grew up primarily on books will generally know how to spell a word but might not know how to pronounce it.  Younger students, people raised on TV, will generally know how to a word is commonly pronounced but not how to spell it.  Hence, "dominate" used as a noun,  "preditor," etc., but "higher archy" is the most amusing example I've seen at school this semester.

Would be nice if they had a spell checker built in here..o well

you are correct in your perception.

As it was once told to Me:

ewok.wav (57kb) – "Oonga chingo pango chindo wah!!"

But one should not confuse that with:

ewok1.wav (46kb) – "Loollum lollum loolla."

Vader was the archetypal devouring father ... a predator.
I was and am referring to the first movie only.

Hmmmm...really?    Let me introduce you to the predator I met my first time out, he may just change your mind about that.  But then again, who knows...some people might truly love the experience I had.  Might be their kink to be used, hurt physically, but worse emotionally, and tossed out like trash.  I know that there are people out there that like that.  But it certainly wasn't anything I knowingly agreed to at that point in time.  Anyway, if anyone wants to meet him, I could probably give you his cell phone number....lol.  Though I would bet he changes them a lot, so certain people can't find him.  Pretty easy to get local numbers everywhere you travel to.

Actually, I had a great Mentor after that first flub up, he listened to me, gave me things to read, answered any questions I had, and was someone kind enough to let me lean on him for a decent length of time.  It was never anything physical.  I am glad to have met him on CollarMe.  He and his wife even went that extra mile for me, and helped me find a local Dominant.   Being a newbie I was having a hard time 'separating the wheat from the chaff '.  Anyway, it all worked out for the best!

I disagree here because I have had a lot of experience with Mentors.
There are a lot of good Mentors out there who teach and keep it to that perspective; however, the most vial are the ones who call themselves Mentors and are nothing but common thieves robbing people of their very souls to use to their advantage.

Glad you were able to find the minority to be of good avantage to you rather than taking avantage of you.

Has anyone else had something that was physical?

Who has had a menor that said it would not be physical but turned out to be just that?

I have had both, and I agree with most of the things said above.  A true mentor is there to guide you through the stupid shit you do in the beginning and give you advice & an open ear.  Personally, I couldn't ever play with my mentor, as I look at him literally as a father figure.  A predator makes me think of what I term "drunken frat boys."  These are the "doms" that think a slap on the ass during doggy style is domination & they are in it for the orgasm.
