Ok, for those of you who don't know my set up, I have my "vanilla" home on the main and second floors of my space, and my dungeon downstairs. Now I have 2 roommates (one has a gf who lives with us most of the time too) who are very kink aware, and kink friendly. I have been thinking, as a way of conditioning my more shy male subbies/slaves a game that goes as follows:

Have waiting for them when they arrive for a session the following and gear them up after they kneel and do their greeting protocol:
Gates of hell, wrist and ankle cuffs, spreader bar, bungee cord. Put the cuffs on, put the spreader bar between their ankles, and lock their wrists behind their back. Put the gates on (by this time they will likely be erect so it will be more painful). bungie cord hanging from the gates, loops under the bar, back up to the hook at the end of the gates.

Have an assortment of zest-peeled lemons (meaning the rind is removed, but the under-rind is still there) and some flowers on the counter in the kitchen, say 20..... have a vase on the coffee table, make them while in this set-up, transport the lemons with their mouths to the vase (about a 30 foot walk).

Lock the front door after they arrive, so my roommates have to get their keys out.and jiggle the handle, etc. If they manage to get all the lemons and flowers to the vase (making a nice centerpiece for their mistress to look at) they get a reward, like the right to release while being observed if they do it before a roomie gets home. If they continue after a roomie gets home, they might even get some fondling and attention to assist their release. If they chicken out and hide upon hearing the keys in the lock, they will be punished with a lash of the single tail for every item left on the counter.

What do you ladies think? Improvements? Better (worse tasting) items that still look good in a centerpiece?

I like it, I say go for it, especially if your rommates are aware of the situation and are comfortable with it.

You might add greenery and things like pinecones and artichokes to the list of available items. You can make anything taste bad by putting on the stuff that deters fingernail biting or dog chewing (or, sprinkle/spray on a spice of some type, maybe?). Anyway, an assortment of items with instructions to bring/arrange them in such a way that will create an attractive centerpiece that will please you could be even more fun, or add variation and more of a challenge to the game for the future if it's something you want to play multiple times with each sub or find some to accomplish it rather easily.

ETA: If the roomies won't be arriving on a particular day for some reason, you could have the sub start digital timer (we have a kitchen timer that counts up or down, and up after it goes off).

Just some thoughts, but I really like your idea; in fact, I just may borrow it!

OK, I know Im no lady, and a picky an sometimes cranky sod, but are your roomies consenting to the possibility of being drawn into this scenario? (Yeah I know the consent of outsiders has been dragged up elsewhere many times before)

In the meantime thinking how well could be adapted to a female sub

My roommates love what I do, and will even actively participate here and there. I am very lucky to have them.

Not if you haven't discussed the possibility of him being exhibited to others in fetish gear. Punishing him for being a private person and not an exhibitionist is incorrect. Now if he agrees you can have him seen at some point and you pick the time is something else. But it's like a lot of other stuff, just because he's agreed to bondage doesn't mean he's agreed to needle play.

No one ever said it was non-consensual. I wouldn't do this with someone who was not consenting. This helps them push their comfort level, which is one of my biggest roles in many of my subbies lives. And rewards the desired outcome, and punishes failure to achieve (their own) goals.

Now there is an idea- change the taste of something....If you have something that should taste sweet, use bitter lime on it (they use it to train dogs). That might add a new dimension.

Your post made it clear that the roommates had consented, but hadn't mentioned consent by the sub so I responded. And it was an understandable mistake considering how many twits out there would do that.
