Folks would think it ill-advised
To keep the thermostat so low.
"No Heat," I say. They act surprised.
"It keeps the gas bill down, you know."
How do we sleep when it's so cold?
When temperatures chill to the bone?
"We have a system," they are told.
"When we need heat, we make our own."
