The official policy was, and still is, to be supportive of all with tg issues regardless of sexual preferences or lifestyle. The exception of course is anything blatantly illegal. However, the actual level of acceptance depended on who was present. Sponsored discussions were kept strictly to transgender issues. That meant tv, ts, cd, etc. Also support for spouses, significant others, partners, family, etc. Age for attendance was 18 and above. In general the support was good. But, it did depend on the mix in attendance. In smaller groups, it became easier to tell who you could discuss certain issues with.
