Well personally I would unlikely be born.

Intellectually I do not necessarily think better, just different. Perhaps the social revolutions of the 60s onwards would have happened earlier as a process of rebellion against the imagined government so we could well be a couple of decades into our future socially

I think the changes that were conceived in the 60's would have been aborted....double quick !

I doubt you would even find many Germans that would think the world would be a better place if Nazi Germany won.

If there was a little magnanimity after WWI and a proper negotiated settlement then maybe the 20th century wouldn't have been the most violent for 700 years. (apparently the 13th century was more violent in % of population violently killed).

Probably not for Jews or Homosexuals. For that matter, probably not for most people unless you are a Nazi. The things people think about. Lol.

Sorry for this but it is one of my pet peeves.  It's not "had of won".  Perhaps, "...if Germany would have won the war".  Had of doesn't even have a meaning that I know of.  End of grammar lesson.

Nope.

We'd all have to speak German. And that would suck. Its a language that sounds like you're angry all the time!

seekstofasn8adom.....I haver thought about it too....however I think the world would not have been a better place...rather if the Nazis had won the war, dictatorship would have triumphed as a system, totalitarianism would have been the token to imitate and admire, with "nationalistic" leaders taking over with help of nazis all over the world...imposing a system similar or along fascist lines to those of Germany....all creativity and technology would have been operated by the state, and freedom and individuality greatly reduced....I still do not think everyone would have been speanking German or such...other than to admit that it would have been a "diplomatic language" and a "language of trade". I would have still been born, but many other people would not have, and many groups of people would have been exterminated, sadly.

anyways....so much for the what ifs...they say there are other parallel universes where that outcome could have ocurred, luckily not on ours....hell I think I have been seeing too many science fiction films LOL

Nein!

-Rammstein

edited to add... would we still have The Sound of Music? Perhaps Julie Andrews would agree that we're better off as is.
