Looks like balancing the budget won't happen under this Democratic congress. The Democrat majority in the House has now brought to the floor a $463.5 billion dollar spending bill that includes such things as increasing funds to international AIDS agencies and funding for a $45 million dollar project to create an indoor rainforest in Central Iowa.
Looks like the Dems also like spending money we dont have.
Look like all 2006 did was replace right-wing spending bafoons with left-wing spending bafoons.
The bill increasing the minimum wage has also ballooned to contain 111 amendments...many of which has little to nothing to do with the minimum wage.
It only goes to prove the old saying... "The more things change, the more they stay the same."
