Are there any Dommes who enjoy giving a very severe whipping, especially a single tail? How hard have you whipped a slave?

I enjoy severe caning, actually any sort of caning really, but Judicial Punishment with Singapore Cane is great.
 
How hard - until my arm is tired - till the target number is reached - till the bottom is good and bloody - till the time runs out on the dungeon hire.
 
Never tried a single tail, well except in play, I think the dungeon I use does not have enough space for one!

I do not trust myself with a singletail. Having had them used on me by someone with some 30 years of experience, knowing how easily and with what little force he used left scars over my left shoulder (I wanted it and accepted the fact I knew my masochism would reach skin cutting) and knowing that a few millimeters closer would have meant stitches, I do not feel like I have enough experience to take a singletail to my slave. I am target practicing though, and will not bring that flamboyantly pink nylon string cracker he used on me and gave me on her until I know it's power and movement by heart. Until I can accurately predict the singletail, I will not risk a heafty hospital bill because I screwd up.

Dear blckmlslv, Ladies and Gentlemen;
 
I have 6 single tails in my collection of other tools of the trade per se.
 
In the many years of Topping masochists, I have proven that 'anybody' can beat somebody else up but, it takes an artful mastery of using tools to create the pain sensations without leaving damage all over.
 
I have used the Florentine method of single tail use; which means 2 single tails, one in each hand and single tailed individuals sensually to sadistic levels.
 
I also cane.  I use Florentine method of caning as well.  I've given classes, demonstrations and presentations on caning; using 2 canes independently (one in each hand and up to 2 canes in each hand, making a total of 4 canes in action at the same time).
 
From single tails, quirts, flails, cat o nine's, canes --pain can be exact and used artfully so.
 
The mastery comes from getting big pain results without leaving much of a trail/trace.  Anybody bruised, scored and or bleeding is just 'beaten,' in my opinion.
 
Just some thoughts.
