Trying to find new places to visit [;)] What are your favorite spots for vacation on a budget... low to mid-range budget. Any tips to go along with recommendations would be welcome too...
Some Caveats:
Great for walking (not having to drive from place to place)
Good food
Friendly or interesting people
Good wine/cocktails
Music
Entertainment (people watching, beach, history, etc.)
So far, my favorite have been New Orleans and Vegas (baby!)
