Hi everyone
Was trying to find out if anyone knows of some good chat software that is also free. I used to use the old vp chat with excite and really enjoyed the ability to show avatars. It also had many bdsm themed rooms and I am looking for another of a similar style. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Then, get a little program called Trillian. It allows you to interface with all of the above and run them simultaneously from one console. It also allows you to have more than on ID active for each chat client. AND, it's free, too.

The only "room" based chat systems I can think of these days are IRC and Pal-Talk.

Those of you who remember VP or excite chat with avatars and BDSM based rooms may be glad to know that there is still a outlet, and its called voodoo chat and there are many of the old VP Chatters there, myself included. Go to http://www.voodoochat.com and download the software, its free. Its slightly different to excite/vp used to be regarding rooms and such but still quite a large based kink friendly rooms.

I know this is an old thread, but I am hopping someone knows of any current chat rooms other than here. I use to use Voodoo but it now seems to just be a facebook app with few users. Does anyone know where likeminded people go other than here? Preferably some place that uses avatars like Voodoo and the old VP chat?
