Moral integrity - don't swear at me !!

The worst of the worst! That is going to take some serious penance.

I love gardening. I don't know what I enjoy most the flowers or the veggies.
When I'm sitting under the big maple tree on a summer eve ohhhing and awwwing over this one or that the Ol'Man just shakes his head and says, "you can't eat flowers",
I tell him that they're food for the soul.

Oooohhhh...I love all my catalogs.
I tend to grow flowers since I love having cut arrangements in my house.
Favorites are zinnias, gerbera daisies, sunflowers.

I always plant zinnias! I love gerbera daisies. I too adore making arrangements for the house.

Try Dahlias for this, they last forever, as well as liatris too.

Oh gods edited to add tuberous begonias, my favs. I order the bulbs from England.

Follow the link, on this site they list every certified plant provider in the US and the UK as well as links to their websites and whether or not they offer free catalogs. It is also a great spot for information.

However, now, I'm smack-dab in the middle of downtown Boston and the only thing I can grow are indoor plants for some humidity for this freakishly-dry apartment.

Follow the link i gave Devilssister, then search apartment gardening. Good luck.

Actually you can eat some flowers. Most people do without even knowing it. Think about saffron or capers.

Flowers are food for the soul, smiles, i like that.

Lucky for me Scooter and Jewel enjoys seeing them outside almost as much as the love watching the enjoyment i get from them.
