As in the present day there are so many reruns of tv shows, remakes of movies, and people doing cover songs all from the 70's and 80's time period. So what i ask of people is was the 70's and 80's a goldenage for Music,Movies,Television.I think it was but what does everyonelse think please? The people in this world were certainly alot better in the 70's and 80's,and the world was'nt such a violent place then as it is today. So maybe that is what everyone is trying to recapture today in films/movie,tv by trying to relive the goodtimes of the goldenage of the 70's and 80's.[:)]

the first thing that comes to mind is gangster/crime movies...people seemed to be able to accept a lot more violence in what they viewed, and so came the Godfather movies, Dirty Harry(s), Scarface, etc...while not my kind of movies, I'd say many people consider them to be classics nowadays.

edited to add:  so maybe the 70s and 80s weren't as warm and fuzzy as you were thinking...
