We met here on C.M. The odds of us meeting without this site were slim as we lived in different towns. We have now been together for a year and it just keeps getting better!!!! So, as far as we are concerned, YES, it does work.

sorry, forgot to add- we first began to chat to each other after we had been here for about 6 months. i did meet a couple more Doms from here- 1 was cool, the other is best forgotten lol

Status: offline 		I don't think I've met a single individual from CollarMe face to face.  Generally, Libby and I meet people at events and save online for discussion and advising.  Of course, a number of people I know from offline are on CollarMe

Status: offline 		I've been hear about oh.. two years, under this and another name and I've met.. hmm.. about 20 or so people, both out of friendship and potential play partners.

Edited to add: thats all from "the other side" of course. Haven't met anyone from the boards yet.

Status: offline 		I've been on here for a little over 6 months (July 4th was the sign up date), and I've met two people in person (had potential meeting others, but, they stood me up)... One nice man, I still converse with on a friendly basis and then it was my Master.

I met my Master online at the end of July, then we met in person in September and I have been his happy and devoted pet since October.

Status: offline 		I've been here a year and met (at least) seven people.  I've talked to many others.  As to luck ... while none of those people were long-term, I've learned things and gotten to do fun things.  I've figured out new things that I am interested in.

Status: offline 		Both names combined ... over a year.  I met my hubby here on collar me and when I was Domming I met 6 people real time for sessions from here.  And I also met the Dom who hosts a monthly play party we attend here on CM as well.

I never met a great deal of many people off of CM.

I was one of those freaks that started off on AOL...and had to deal with all the bullshit chatroom shit on same...came about here due to references of....(sue me).

I can honestly say (assuming the question more relates to "how many have you met off the internet?")...it's been good.

I travel a lot.  I've been to Clarksville...(TN) and I met a gorgeous woman who lived in same...very polite...showed me the town...would never have been there but for her...

Went to NYC a few years back, met a wonderful woman from Arkansas (might have been Alabama) who drove up to meet me, we spent 3 days exploring everything CNN chose to tell the world Times Square looks like, and I saw it all...(Met another woman later...also off of AOL....muuuuuch better show....saw things I never imagined....great town...improved greatly my vision of NYC).

NJ is a wonderful place (contrary to popular opinion...and may I say...Camden...really does suck), and through her I was exposed to "Little Italy"...and lemme tell you....for less than $350.00...(including parking), plus Broadway tickets....NYC rocks....(and trust me....$350.00 is cheap when you can go home and test your taste buds....believe it....Little Italy...for any price, is better than any pasta you've ever had).

Philly is spectacular....and those historical travels through all the old places that every Biography channel show tells you is something worth seeing....(but believe me...Philly Cheese steaks suck...and Philly Cheese steaks in Times Square suck even more).

(It's still worth seeing).

And then there's all that other shit...

Yes, you can meet some cool people here.

And you can learn some things...especially if you ain't "from there".

"There" is incredible.

It's been good.

It ain't like the brochures.

(Trust me).

Status: offline 		I've been here since 4/05 and have met 2.  They were pleasant enough but no chemistry on my part, at least, probably not on theirs, either.  Had a great email then phone relationship with someone recently, then he "remembered" his "vanilla girlfriend", lol.
