I pursed  most of the significant news media today, and I can't find any reference or response to this by any media outlet. Needless to say our elected officials are too busy determining man's impact and contribution to the projected next 100 years of global warming. I guess they can't be distracted from that mission to concern themselves regarding something scheduled for next Sunday.

Curious...
What has a better chance of occurring and impacting you; Iran using a nuclear weapon somewhere on someone, or "global warming"?

Back to the cure...
Apparently the division of the "Illuminati" controlling the international drug cartels, I mean Corporations, were asleep at the wheel regarding this announcement. Because the cure is being announced from a country free of the conspiratorial perpetrators of 9/11 and the Kennedy assassination; this cure can't be repressed and kept from the public as has the cure for cancer, the 100 year light bulb, turning water into an alternative for oil, or the permanently sharp razor blade.

Status: offline 		and there has been no corroborating information?  One way or the other, i won't believe it until i see it.  This IMOD drug, how does anyone expect a universal cure for the increasing multitudes of strains and mutations?

Popeye, I suspect what he was saying was....your comment was at best crass, insensitive, cruel, unnecessary, debasing, disgusting (I could go on), when, regardless of anyone's views on the subject...people are dying...painfully...it's kind of like saying "Yeah...that Schindlers List movie was really good...but why did they have to put all that shit in there about all them Jews?"

It's a pretty low joke to laugh at others misfortune. 

(There's a lot of other good shit out there to laugh about besides the fact that other people are painfully hurting).

A joke that "goes over someones head" while enjoying someone elses suffering...just ain't funny.

Status: offline 		While I always say that I am trying to work myself out of a job, this "news" has not hit our agency, LA County Public Health or CDC in a way that gets any of our attention.

Doesn't anyone remember when Cookie Johnson said that Magic had been "cured"? She was wrong. His viral load had reached a level that is called "undetectable". The virus is still in the body, but the count is too low to be read with the given technology. Even if you were to rid the body of all the active virus.. there is always the latent virus hidden deep in the body that will bring the viral load right back up.

If only this were true. I would be singing and dancing my way to the unemployment line.

Status: offline 		Now my understanding of it is that it mutates, not a lot but just enough to survive and of course preventions do not, so if that understanding is correct its like chasing a shadow and very difficult to isolate so although i hope that is true i am always optimistically skeptical if ya know what i mean.

Certainly they will drop more bombshells during their announcement such as their putting a man on Mars, developing a 200 mpg engine that runs off raw sewage and creates pure water as a byproduct, a perpetual motion machine, and most importantly...a device that makes duplicates for unmatched socks.

IV drug abuse... banned under Islamic law.
Homosexual Intercourse... banned under Islamic law
Hetrosexual adultery... banned under Islamic law.

Soo... taking a great leap of the imagination, I suspect any Iranian 'cure' for HIV or AIDS probably involves some facet of existing Islamic legislation... IE, putting the offenders to death, thereby halting any possibility of infection spreading.

Call me a cynic, if you must

I actually heard about it tonight on the radio while driving back from the gym. It and the fact that the midget from NYC, Bloomberg, is exploring a possible run at the presidency on the democratic ticket were the top stories. Ya never know HAR!

Status: offline 		Well if there is a cure, as I believe there is probably one for MS and a myriad of other telethon-supported disease that would put scientists and fundraisers out of business if the truth were known, the FDA would never approve it for use in the US in any reasonable time span, or the Iranians wouldn't even let us have it.
