Society of the Risen Phoenix: A Matriarchy
Conglomeration of Guilds and ancient knowledge from a variety of Orders and Societies. "The Society of the Risen Phoenix" is a non-profit group of concerned individuals who live the Erotic Lifestyle of Dominance and submission, SadoMasochism, and spiritual evolution.... We help to educate interested people that BDSM/Ds is not abuse by providing counselling, training, ceremony, and mental & spiritual enlightenment. We sometimes utilize Sadomasochist "therapy" to help achieve a healing in the lives of others, we also do it because it is rewarding for other reasons as well, but we always proceed with great caution and care not to bring harm into other peoples lives.
We often find the D&s aspects, ("Dominance and submission"), of our relationships to be very valuable for the mental and spiritual growth of our membership. Bondage and Discipline are other methods we use as tools to achieve the desired results in the lives and wellbeing of those in our care. Our lives are filled with eroticism, passion, rommance, and sensual expression. We seek to nurture others and ourselves while fullfilling our most intimate needs as well as those of others. We learn to touch on a much deeper level, the true self, the soul... we might describe it "Conjuring the Dance".... wherein we walk in each others soul and our spirits joined are free to dance the "Dance of Exhuberant Bliss".
We are each a member of one of five Guilds; each guild representing the level of our refinement and skills. Guild of the "Cobra" represents those Dominants who aspire to learn the methods and techniques of our lifestyle and play scenes. Guild of the "Mongoose" represents both Dominants and submissives who serve the Society in a protective manner. They are people who possess "Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities". (A member of one of the other Guilds may simultaneously maintain membership within the Guild of the Mongoose). The Guild of the "Tiger" represents those who have learned the techniques and skills of play and leadership and have proven to be more than competant. They provide training to others and teach in an honorable, reputable, and reliable fashion. Their relationships tend to be allthemore intense and fullfilling as they have the appropriate skills to live in that manner safely and securely. Their emphasis is on the Physical and Mental aspects of
the personna. Guild of the "Dragon" is comprised of those who have demonstrated a high degree of Mastery in a wide range of interests and skills. They have begun to study Sex Majik and Conjuring the Dance. They understand the ebbs and flows of universal life forces and subtal energies at play within our relationships. They are the Masters and Mistresses of renown leadership abilities. They most often have decades of lifestyle experience and are people of extrodinary integrity. Their emphasis is on contemplation and devination, magical empowerment, and vision. They seek enlightenment and spiritual evolution. They train directly under the Phoenix. The Phoenix is a person/s who has Mastered the Magic of our lifestyle and evolved into a place of great spiritual understanding and leadership responsibility. The Phoenix is a person who has developed abilities many might consider supernatural in nature.
We encourage each other towards upward movement through the guilds aspiring that all eventually become a Phoenix, either in this lifetime or in one of the next. We are benevolently minded, using "things"... and loving "people"... (not the other way around - hence our concern over others within our lifestyle). We are protective of each other and of innocents. We rescue when neccessary and maintain liasions within most reputable groups of "The Community". We are not judgemental and are very tolerant of each others differences in traditions and beliefs, but we are of one mind in that we believe in the "Power of Love", not the Love of Power.
