I was at the Worlds Lamest Superbowl Party lastnight, and no one there cared enough to actually turn the tv up to listen, so I really didn't pay attention.

Every year. For two reasons. We do production work, and I just have to appreciate the hard work of turning a football field into a concert venue in the span of a commercial break or two plus a few minutes of banal announcing. And once in a while they hit a homerun. Last night was a homerun. The uninitiated in His Purpleness' Style may criticize what they think is a mix low in, well, EVERYTHING but Prince's Guitar and Vocal, but that's the way it's always been.

But hey, the wings were good. Really crispy, just the way I like 'em.

Actually, our bunch was paying more attention to the halftime show and commercials than to the game. Most of the time, everybody was getting piercings stretched. God I love kinky Superbowl parties.

Prince did a damn good job last night, I agree. I appreciate that he didn't lip sync, as well.
