I am not the marrying type.  But I do understand the need
to provide for your partner(s) and any unmentionables,
property inheretance, etc.  My preference is for domestic
partnership agreements.

My vote is for -
Unlimited multiple partner marriages - regardless of gender

I put my hand up. I'm sorry. Its the likes of me that has caused all this confusion.

I mean, it makes a mockery of the whole thing doesnt it? When you have people out there, who with the flick of a stamp by the authorities could legally marry anyone they like.

Right now, I can legally marry a woman; not in a civil partnership or anything like that, but by way of a proper legal marriage.

Given the change of a letter on a certificate somewhere, I could marry a guy - again, proper marriage, not civil partnership.

But then again, I'm much with LaT on this. Having been married once, I'm not so sure I'd want all that again, even if I could locate a person daft enough to marry me. I'm now of the opinion that bits of paper do not a worthwhile relationship make.
