Part Rimmer from Red Dwarf (at times I have the worst possible smegging luck on the planet, and I'm more uptight than anyone I know),
Part Delia from Beetlejuice (I'm a cd)
Part most of the main characters from any Chuck Palahniuk novel, I can really relate to them when I'm feeling particularly disenchanted, but mostly Fight Club's main character I'd say.

Lily, you're awsome, great post and one I have been struggling with since you informed me of it. (bleh).

Sitting here laughing my butt off about Taggard as Will from Will and Grace, didn't really occur to me until after I read it, but yeah I could see it.

I am going to have to place myself in the likes of Betty Rubble fromt he Flintstones and Marrianne from Gilligan's Island. Kind of in the background but happy to be there and always trying to keep ppl content, not to mention darn cute too (lol).

Sure...I am going for James Bond, and I get Will from Will and Grace.

Figures.

Taggard

I think of all fictional characters, in personality and attitude, I've been told on several accounts that I'm very much like Armand, from the Vampire Chronicals.

Other than that, I'd have to say. . . . Constantine lol, I smoke way too much, I'm an out and out prick, and well I just love fingering people.

I'd have to say Richard Rahl (Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series) - The woods guide turned reluctant leader who's always getting captured, tied up, and tortured by beautiful sadistic women.

Unfortunantly I havnt had the opportunity to read the book or I belive its "Hell Blazer?" thats the comic?

I just mean the movie. Although I try not to relate myself to Keanu Reeves, even though we're both Bass players.

You’re right this is a fun topic. It certainly prompted a little reflection.

My choice would be Travis McGee from the series of books by John D. MacDonald. It’s been a very long time since I read any of them. Under the somewhat tough exterior was a knight in slightly tarnished armor, who while solving one mystery or another, managed to fix the girls broken hearts as well.

The twist on this question though is how others may perceive you. That said I have from time to time been compared to Connery and Bogart, and once to Hal from 2001 (though I believe that lady had not taken her medication that day).

So you never know

M. Rapier-

Damn- wish I'd thought of that!

I'd take the later Mcgee, somewhere between 'green ripper' and 'lonely silver rain'.

As for how other percieve me, I once had a friend descibe me as a cross between Mel Gibson in leathal weapon, and Obi Wan Kenebi- with a bit of Kermit thrown in.

Still not sure how I feel about that...

It's great to see you here- welcome aboard!

Stay warm,
Lawrence

I resemble Pink from Pink Floyd: The Wall actually. I relate very closely to his experiences.

I'd have to say Ripley from Aliens (not the later ones). I'm extremely protective of my friends and family and at times will go to extreme lengths to protect or care for them...

Get away from her -- you *bitch*! <-- that pretty well sums it up...
