The twist on this question though is how others may perceive you. That said I have from time to time been compared to Connery and Bogart, and once to Hal from 2001 (though I believe that lady had not taken her medication that day).

Ummmm... Clark Gable all the way, especially as Rhett Butler in Gone With the Wind!

[to Scarlett]
Rhett Butler: I've always thought a good lashing with a buggy whip would benefit you immensely.

I always answer this with a slight childish furry fun (hey, I am only 19!) and say Polly Ester from the Samurai Pizza Cats!!

But on a slightly mature note... hmmm... Holly GoLightly from "Breakfast at Tiffany's".... possibly. I wouldn't be Holly if I could say for definite! [;)]

I have read thru this entire thread and realize there is no one that i resemble (espcially someone who is famous) other than myself. Thus is how my life is...not special, not unique...just me.

Lin, the Khepri (aka "bug") artist in the incomparable China Mieville's tour de force, "Perdido Street Station." Lin is an alien. She, as do all Khepri, has a woman's body and the head of a bug (although male Khepri may have male bodies; I forget). She is an artist, a straight-shooter and she has a chip on her shoulder like Marlon Brando in The Wild One, who famously said in response to "What are you rebelling against?" "Whaddaya got?" She's in a relationship with a human being and, to say the least, such relationships are frowned upon. I just adored her.
