After many years of elusive lurking and evading researchers,
CM members have their own troll here to clarify those mystifying
questions -
 
(From a recent interview with FuckinTroll with the BFTS
  (Big Fuckin Troll Society) writer - 
 
Q- Where do you and your kind come from?
A- Some say we are the remnant of previous homids
     Neanderthals or perhaps Cro-Magnon.
 
Q- Where do you live?
A- Some of my country kinfolk still live in the traditional way,
    in caves or under bridges or in abandoned buildings.
    But for the most part we are starting to modernize
    our lives, living in Trollplexes, TrollVees and Trollminiums.
 
Q- What about transportation?
A- The country folk still get around by foot or horse back
     or by wagon.  In the cities we use Trollsters, Trollcycles
     and Public Trollsportation.
 
Q- How do you go about blending into the rest of the
     human population?
A- It is quite easy you see, no one believes in us anymore.
    They just think we are foreigners and extreme sports
    fantatics.
 
Q- What kind of grooming routine do you use to control
     the...errr....fur...ahem...excess body hair?
A- Let me just say that trolls have made may an esthetician
    and sheep sheerer quite wealthy.  We even have a new
    product on the market, called "Mane's and Paws", developed
    specifically to treat dry, coarse fur.

Thanks for the insight.

I think it is wrong how Hollywood depicts Trolls as big, ugly monsters with clubs. I think that they have just been misunderstood all these years.

Oh no, I saw a big ugly troll with a club at the bar last week.  I think they just have sub species or something.  I'll never watch the x games the same way again though.

Here is a poem describing the beauty of a female troll in the original old Norse and the English translation. It does much to explain why male trolls often prefer to kidnap human females.

Troll kalla mik

Trolls live in the deep forests or in caves in the mountains, far away from the people. They are fierce, bossy creatures which you really don’t want to meet when you’re walking alone in the woods.
 
Trolls don’t like most people. Some Trolls eat or slurp them, some capture them and keep them prisoners in the woods (this happens a lot to princesses in the fairy tales and subbies on Collarme!).
 
One way of getting rid of a Troll is exposing it to a hot domme. A really hot domme like LaT will turn the the Troll into stone (at least parts of them).
