If I hang out here on the forums, will my profile be listed at the top for recently visiting? Or do I have to be in the chatroom? Or editing my profile? I'd prefer the forums, possibly the chatroom.

You are listed at the top of the screen if you are currently viewing that specific thread. Is that what you are asking?

If someone is browsing the profiles on the other side and you are currently online and logged on to both sides, then yes, it will be towards the top of the list and it will come up in a random profile search.
