heaven is it all to do with greed,and the fact that some people have to get themelves in such debt to buy all the mod cons.But when you die nothing of your possessions can you take with you,as there is only space for your soul in heaven,and nothing else in my mind.

Sheesh i earn my money and ill spend it how i choose fit. If that means owning every mod con going what has it to do with anyone else?

Well of course we can't take it with us.  No one ever said our toys were made to enjoy in the afterlife. They're for having fun here. That's why everything is plastic...to make it easier for our next of kin to get rid of it.

Live in a tent for a year.

Then tell me how mod cons are such an awful thing. Especially with two kids to look after.

But yes, we can be too materialistic sometimes and its true you cant take it with you. Equally though, we only take what deeds we did with us to the next life, and it is impossible to buy virtue.

What does material gain have to do with heaven?

If one is a good person and is wealthy/ or even just comfortable then by all means enjoy it. Heck if one is a nasty person, enjoy it.
It all gets sorted in the end, or it doesn't.
Oh jeez I feel all cynical n stuff now lol. But it is what is inside a person, not their wallet. The wallet contents just make life nicer.

Some people want posessions and security to pass on to their um's.  That is a consideration for me.

Something to do with the seven deadly sins i think, either greed, pride or both. But it's way to late for me to start thinking about things like that now anyway. I feel hells heat warming my feet already..

I was born into a very poor family and growing up we never had much....I guess since I never really had much it's kinda hard to be materialistic....I have a few things that I have to have ...My Tommy bags(i have too many to count lol), my boots, my hello kitty stuff...notin all too expensive.
