In the interests of shameless self promotion, and with the best traditions of vote rigging in mind, and especially before any of the usual suspects think up this little jape for themselves, I thought it would be opportune at this juncture for everyone here to start thinking now, as to why I should be on their Valentine’s Day card list; whatever their gender, sexuality, orientation, age, shoe size etc – and I really ought to be on everyone’s list as I am without doubt the most wonderful person here. What is it exactly, that makes me so damned wonderful? E

Thank you to all those who have voted and commented so earnestly and truthfully so far. However, I note that there have been 47 hits on this thread so far, and yet just 8 votes; this is worrying, as it suggests that there are some people out there who lack the conviction to vote. I do fully understand this - it is after all a forboding task even to approach this thread, let alone commit to a specific reason for my superlative being. On the other hand though, there are many options to choose from, and surely no one could possibly conclude that any one of them were not valid and all encompassing? Mind you, I'm a bit pissed off no one has chosen option two so far. Where's TGD? E

I shouldn't have to point out to your highness that those of us who chose all of the above included option 2 as one of the reasons. Besides that, choosing option 2 alone would reveal the voter to be excessively shallow, and we thought that not an attractive quality; not to mention you might hate the voter for failing to notice all those other more significant aatributes that make a person an worthwhile human being. M

I just have to say, it was snowing like crazy here yesterday, (biggest snowfall in 25 years - all of 6 inches!) and its still cold today, and we're expecting more snow this afternoon. Anyhow, thats not the point. I just wanted to say that I wore my red ski hat for the first time today because of the cold, and I look cute as hell in it! No boasting here - do you know that Abba number when Agnetha has a ski hat on? Very reminiscent of her, and thats cute! Shame about the sore throat I have, or I could do a song too. But then again, I might attract hairy Swedish guys that way and I'm not sure sure that would be such a good thing. E
